Always down to earth, inspiring, and many times humorous, Denise is an experienced yoga teacher and movement specialist whose training ground is New York City. And her loyal students can’t seem to get enough of what she has to share. Denise is a YogaWorks certified and National Yoga Alliance 500-hour registered instructor. Holding a self-designed Bachelor of Philosophy degree in dance education from Penn State University, she received a full-scholarship to the George Washington University to continue with her graduate work in dance performance.
After sustaining injuries from years of dancing professionally, Denise found yoga and it changed her life for the better. Her resume is unique, eclectic and extensive. An adventurer, she has traveled around the world leading retreats, taught the Washington Redskins football team movement techniques, appeared in numerous news articles including People Magazine with Billy Baldwin, did aposter for NIKE, created a Spirit Raiser event for the firemen and EMI workers of 9/11, represented arts advocacy on Capitol Hill and was honored by the Girl Scouts of America for being an “Outstanding Woman of Achievement.”
Before the current Covid pandemic, Denise was splitting her time between New York City, Washington, DC and State College, PA teaching and presenting new Yoga and Vision Workshops. Her last international retreat was in 2019 in Mallorca Spain. You can check out her videos on YouTube and Vimeo.
